WindowAlert decals have a coating that brilliantly reflects ultraviolet light. Like any product, man-made or natural, our UV coating will degrade when exposed to the elements. The rate at which this coating degrades is a function of exposure to sunlight, inclement weather, and elevation. Depending upon these variables, decals should be replaced every 9 months.

This 385nm Led UV black light key chain can be used to test the fading of the UV coating on your decals. For best results, compare your OLD decals to a NEW decal–at night. You will see, its fun to do!
